IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON APPROACHING Divisionals With three dual meets left, all swimmers are reminded that to participate in the Division Championship Meet (commonly called Divisionals), you must have swam in three dual meets. Divisionals is Saturday, February 27, 2010 in Hershey. Each swimmer eligible to swim in Divisionals may compete in three events. The swimmer will choose the events they want to swim in. If the coaches decide to put a swimmer into a relay event, the coach will drop the swimmer's third choice of events. Here is the link to all the information you could want regarding divisionals. If you want to know who is swimming fast in the league, check out the CPAL Top 20. Here is the CVAC Divisionals Sign-up Form. Note the deadline to sign up for divisionals is February 12, 2010. As for volunteers, CVAC will provide timers, officials, and team seeding for this meet. Here is the form we will have to complete. Volunteers receive free admission. All-Stars The top 16 fastest times per event from the combined 5 division championship meets will be invited to participate in the ALL-STAR meet on Sunday, February 28. Swimmers will be notified the Saturday evening via the CPAL website (www.swimcpal.org) if they are invited. Two alternates will be invited as well in case of a scratch the day of the meet. CVAC is co-hosting the meet with Collegiate Aquatics. We will need the help of our parents to make this meet a success. Even if your swimmer does not make All-Stars, your help will be needed. Attached is the list of volunteer positions, CVAC will be filling for this meet. There will be a comparable list for Collegiate. If you don't want to be on the pool deck on Sunday, we could use your help with set-up Saturday night and tear down Sunday late afternoon. This volunteer sheet will be posted closer to the meet date.
